Event Details

The Arlington Public Library welcomes neurodivergent children and families to a non-traditional, SNAP* sensory storytime! This 30-45 program is suited for ages 2-5, physically and developmentally, and aims to provide a safe and inclusive space to children and families that may benefit from sensory inclusive accommodations, such as dim lights, calm environment, and more.

This program includes a structured storytime with a visual schedule, including reading a story and singing, along with various activities, such as art crafts with guided instructions. Sensory toys and calm activities will be provided if needed. Families are also welcome to browse through selected books at their own pace.

Registration is required and limited to 10 families to maintain an accommodating space. Please register for the program by email at LIBYouthServices@arlingtontx.gov
