Welcome to the Kindness Project!

The Arlington Public Library invites you to care for yourself and your community by joining us in a month-long celebration of Kindness.

Pick up your Kindness Kit that includes a copy of Channel Kindness: Stories of Kindness and Community by The Born This Way Foundation Reporters and Lady Gaga, a compilation of projects initiated by people inspired to make a difference in their community. Supplies are limited.

Share your thoughts or plan for action at one of our Coffee & Chats being held throughout our community in the month of April. Start small and be active by completing the Kindness Bingo Card. Enjoy our programs in Yoga, Tai Chi, Upcycled Art and Sustainable landscaping designed to explore kindness in its various forms, such as kindness to self, the environment and the community. End the month by attending the Community Care Fair on Saturday, April 23, 10 am-2 pm at Bob Duncan Center to learn more how you can fill your community with KINDNESS!

Kindness can mean different things. Kindness to yourself means taking care of your body and soul. Kindness to others can mean helping, volunteering, being active in your community. Kindness to the environment can mean recycling, sustainable habits and … pick your channel, there is something for everyone. Join the Kindness Project! Make a difference today!

Thank you to the Texas State Library and Archives Commission for their generous support of our programming.
