Welcome to The Kindness Project!

Celebrate kindness to yourself by learning about Qigong (making energy work)

Qigong is the 'Mother' of other practices such as martial arts, tai chi, kung fu, etc. The practice of Qigong includes slow rhythmic movements combined with breathing practice in it's most simple form.

Often referred to a s 'moving meditation' the combination of breathing and simple movements results in lowering of blood pressure and reduction of pain due to movement of energy of chi in the body. We now know that Qigong has an effect on the vagus nerve which allows the body to 'rest and digest'.

We will do multiple types of qigong so the attendees can experience and see what styles they most enjoy.

This class will be held outside, weather permitting.
