Event Details

Are you hoping to get a better job or go to college? Arlington Reads can help with our high school equivalency classes. Our classes are small group and cover five subjects that appear on HSE tests (like the GED or the HiSET): Math, Social Studies, Science, Writing, and Reading.

Registration is required to attend these classes. https://arlingtonlibrary.org/AdultEd-Register

Students will take an entry assessment test to determine which subjects they may be fuzzy on and need to study. Contact Arlington Reads at 817-459-6900 x4524 for any questions.

Traditional semester classes (spring, summer, & fall) are split into four different day and time combinations: Monday & Wednesday morning or evening, as well as Tuesday & Thursday morning or evening; non-traditional semester classes (late spring & late summer) are offered on Wednesday & Friday evenings in South Arlington.

These classes are considered our traditional fall classes, and will take place September 24-December 21.

All subjects will be covered in both 3-hour classes each week. All classes are taught by the same teachers so signing up for multiple classes is not necessary.
