Event Details

Calling all creatives, writers, artists, enthusiasts, and activists! Join us at the Southeast Branch Library for a new program all about zines. Zines are miniature, do-it-yourself magazines created for the purposes of sharing information, raising awareness, making art, and just having fun.

We hope you will join us for these sessions in which we will create, share, and learn together. Plenty of paper, writing utensils, and other craft supplies will be available for attendees, as well as examples of zines to read and explore. There will be opportunities throughout the program to learn about the history of zines and to share with the group.

This is a first-come, first-serve program intended for tweens and teens aged 9 through 17.

If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact us at (817) 459-6900 or by email at LIBYouthServices@arlingtontx.gov.

Thank you to the Friends and Foundation of the Arlington Public Library for their generous support of our programming.
