Event Details

Your family is invited to join us to celebrate the joy of books and reading with Children’s Book Fest!

We are kicking off the event at 11 AM and invite you to come be a part of a virtual visit of children’s author Lauren Tarshis, writer of the wildly popular “I Survived” series.  Mrs. Tarshis will share her journey to turn her many hours of research of a historical event into an action-packed story.  There will also be a Question and Answer session with the author.

Afterwards, please enjoy some fantastic book-themed fun in the Children’s Area
Book Parade – come dressed as your favorite book character and participate in a parade around the library.

Book Character Scavenger Hunt – come find all your favorite book characters in the Children’s Section

Fun Book Crafts & Games
