Learn how to determine the risk of flooding in the City of Arlington and how you can purchase flood insurance for your home through the National Flood Insurance Program. The class will include topics such as:
- natural floodplain functions - maintaining this function reduces the overall risk of flooding
- flood risk - how to find out if your property is at risk and
- flood insurance - available to both residential and commercial areas outside the Special Flood Hazard areas
