10:30 a.m. - 12:30 p.m.
This lecture will help writers define the relationships between hero and villain, look at the emotions that drive villains and their wounds, and define the arc villains take as they tackle the problem of the pesky hero. Writers will look for areas to further tighten their antagonistic force, how to use mouthpieces of villainy, and how to flesh out these characters, heighten tension through their interwoven relationships, and create complex and satisfying stories.
